Assetto Corsa commercial license: what the EULA says and how to request it
The licence text quoted word for word, the official way to contact Kunos Simulazioni, and what is (and is not) public about prices. Sources checked on 21 October 2026. This page is not legal advice.
In short
The essentials in five points
If you plan to put Assetto Corsa on rigs that the public pays to drive, the first document to read is the game's own licence. Here is what the official sources say, and where to go next.
- The end-user licence (EULA) of Assetto Corsa states that public, entertainment and commercial use is not allowed without written permission from Kunos Simulazioni.
- Kunos offers a contact form with a dedicated subject: “I am interested in commercial licenses for Assetto Corsa products”.
- Kunos publishes no price for a commercial licence. The figures found online come from resellers, through third parties, and are unverified.
- We found no public information on a commercial licence for Assetto Corsa EVO, Assetto Corsa Competizione or Assetto Corsa Rally.
- Omnisim is neither a reseller nor a licence holder, and does not provide this licence.
The licence text
What the Assetto Corsa EULA says, word for word
The licence is shown on the game's Steam page: Assetto Corsa end-user licence agreement. It is a contract between the buyer and KUNOS Simulazioni S.r.l, Campagnano di Roma, Italy. It opens with this notice, in capitals (spelling as in the original):
“THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT ALLOWED IN ANY WAY IN PUBLIC, AND/OR FOR PROMOTIONAL, ENTERTAINMENT, TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, FOR FREE OR NOT, WITHOUT AN EXPLICITE, WRITTE PERMISSION PROVIDED BY KUNOS SIMULAZIONI SRL.”
The “License” section grants a “non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal, revocable right to install and use the SOFTWARE on one single personal computer”, then adds: “Any other use is forbidden without prior written consent of KUNOS: in particular but not limited to the unauthorised lease or rental, public use or other display, e.g. in schools or universities, duplication, multiple installations or overwriting.”
The “Restrictions” section states: “It is intended solely for private use.” The agreement is governed by Italian law, and disputes go to the Ordinary Court of Rome.
- Who decides: Kunos Simulazioni, the developer of the game
- What is required: an explicit, written permission
- What the text names: public, promotional, entertainment, training, educational and commercial use, free or paid
What is not public
What the official sources do not tell you
The EULA sets the principle, but it gives no price, no licence type and no procedure. Kunos's AC PRO page mentions an “AC PRO program” used by “esports organizers, car manufacturers, and simulator makers”, without terms or prices: Assetto Corsa PRO.
We do not interpret the text and cannot tell you whether your project needs a licence, or which one. Only Kunos can answer that, for your venue, your country and your number of rigs.
The procedure
How to request a commercial licence from Kunos
Kunos's official channel is the contact form on assettocorsa.gg. On the forum in December 2017, Kunos staff were already redirecting commercial licence questions to its request form.
- 01
Prepare your company details
On the form, the company name and the VAT number are mandatory fields, in addition to your name, email and message. The phone number is optional.
- 02
Choose the right subject
Open the Kunos contact form and select the subject “I am interested in commercial licenses for Assetto Corsa products”.
- 03
Describe your project
Say what you plan to do: type of venue (dedicated center, arcade, bar, event), country, number of rigs, the games concerned, and whether you plan to use mods. The more precise the request, the more precise the answer can be.
- 04
Keep the written reply
The EULA speaks of an explicit, written permission. File Kunos's reply and any document they send you with your company records.
Prices
How much does it cost? Only third-party claims
Kunos publishes no price for a commercial licence on the pages we consulted. The only figures we found come from a third party: the site SimPull, in a guide marked “Updated July 2026”, says it takes them from authorised resellers, naming Vesaro and FPZERO. SimPull guide.
According to SimPull, and only according to SimPull: about £3,495 per simulator for a “Commercial” tier and about £3,750 for a “Commercial Pro” tier, paid once per seat, the second tier adding mods and third-party software. SimPull cites no official Kunos source. Omnisim has not verified these figures; they may be out of date or not apply to your country. Ask Kunos for the conditions that apply to you.
Mods and brands
Mods, car brands and tracks
The EULA has no clause dedicated to third-party mods. Its “Restrictions” section states that the licensee “may not use, disclose, modify, reproduce or distribute the SOFTWARE except as expressly permitted in this AGREEMENT.” Mods are made by third parties, who may set their own terms of use. If you plan to run mods in a commercial venue, say so in your request to Kunos, and check each mod's terms with its author.
On brands, the “Trademarks” section states: “This AGREEMENT does not give you any rights whatsoever in connection with trademarks belonging to KUNOS or its licensors.” The end of the licence lists the car makers and circuits whose “logos and contents are reproduced under license”, Ferrari among them. Using those names or logos in your own advertising is a separate question, to raise with Kunos or the rights holders.
Other Kunos games
Assetto Corsa EVO, Competizione and Rally
The Assetto Corsa EVO licence grants, in its section 5, use “for your personal entertainment use”, and lists among the restrictions any use “for commercial purposes” without “KUNOS's written consent”.
We found no public information on a commercial licence for Assetto Corsa EVO, Assetto Corsa Competizione or Assetto Corsa Rally: no programme, no price, no date. AC EVO and Assetto Corsa Rally are still in early access. For any of these games, the same Kunos form is the place to ask.
Omnisim's role
What Omnisim does, and what it does not do
Omnisim is management software for sim racing centers: it launches Assetto Corsa on each rig, handles tickets and online booking, and records lap times. Omnisim is neither a reseller nor a holder of an Assetto Corsa licence, has no partnership with Kunos, and does not provide any licence to run the game. Each rig must have Assetto Corsa installed through Steam, on an account that owns the game; obtaining the rights for commercial use is up to the operator, with Kunos.
To see how Omnisim drives the game on the rigs, read Assetto Corsa sim center software. For the rest of the project (hardware, software, pricing), see how to open a sim racing center.
This page is not legal advice. It quotes public documents as they read on 21 October 2026; they can change. For any question about your situation, contact Kunos Simulazioni, or a lawyer.
Assetto Corsa commercial licence: questions
Can I use my Steam copy of Assetto Corsa in my center?
The EULA on the game's Steam page states: “THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT ALLOWED IN ANY WAY IN PUBLIC, AND/OR FOR PROMOTIONAL, ENTERTAINMENT, TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, FOR FREE OR NOT, WITHOUT AN EXPLICITE, WRITTE PERMISSION PROVIDED BY KUNOS SIMULAZIONI SRL.” Only Kunos can tell you what applies to your center: ask through the contact form.
How much does an Assetto Corsa commercial licence cost?
Kunos publishes no price. The site SimPull reports reseller prices (Vesaro, FPZERO) of about £3,495 to £3,750 per simulator, paid once. These are unverified third-party claims; only Kunos can give you a price.
Who do I contact, and what do I need?
Kunos Simulazioni, through the form on assettocorsa.gg, subject “I am interested in commercial licenses for Assetto Corsa products”. The company name and VAT number are mandatory fields on the form.
Does free access or an event change anything?
The EULA notice covers use “FOR FREE OR NOT”, and names public, promotional and entertainment use alongside commercial use. For an event, a trade show or a private evening, ask Kunos as well.
Can I use mods in a commercial venue?
The EULA has no clause dedicated to mods, and Kunos publishes no rules on the subject. SimPull claims that mods require a higher tier, which is unverified. Mention your mods in your request to Kunos and check each mod's terms with its author.
Is there a commercial licence for Assetto Corsa EVO or Assetto Corsa Rally?
We found no public information on one. The AC EVO licence reserves commercial use to Kunos's written consent. Both games are still in early access.
Does Omnisim include or sell the licence?
No. Omnisim is neither a reseller nor a licence holder and does not provide the licence. The software runs on rigs where Assetto Corsa is installed through Steam; the commercial rights are arranged between the operator and Kunos.
